Not sure which Shikai is worth unlocking in Roblox Paradox? Don’t worry, I’ll guide you through the Paradox Shikai rankings and rank all the moves from best to worst so you can make smart decisions in the game.
Paradoxical Shikai Tier List
Shikai refers to the first stage of a Soul Reaper’s weapon, known as a Zanpakuto, which undergoes a transformation to unlock unique abilities. In Roblox Paradox, Shikai has eight different movesets/abilities so far, which are further divided into different rarities. Here’s a quick look at their rankings:
- S level: Flower, gravity, rampage
- A level: Lightning, blood
- B level: Fire, shadows
- C level: wind
S level
- Flower: Flower is a legendary Shikai in Paradox and is by far the best choice due to the combination of abilities it offers. His Blossom ability is perfect for delaying an enemy’s attack as he sends the opponent away with his pink tornado. If you’re feeling a bit aggressive, you can use the Sakura Slash move, which deals significant damage to the enemy in less than two seconds.
- Gravity: Due to its fast attack, Gravity is undoubtedly one of the most versatile and spam-friendly Shikais. When you perform the gravity control move, your character thrusts forward and grabs the enemy while simultaneously launching them into the air and knocking them back down to the ground. Especially in close combat, I recommend using the gravity pull to quickly bring enemies closer to you. This can turn the tide in critical situations.
- rampage: Rampage has the highest damage of any Shikai in the game. It has three moves (Crusher, Rage and Meteor Crash) and all of them deal significant damage. You will use the Rage attack the most as it allows you to quickly finish off the enemy with a single hit.
A level
- Lightning Blood: Lightning has a higher drop rate compared to S-tier Shikais and is definitely a good choice for most players. This particular Shikai relies heavily on lightning attacks, which are known for their massive damage. The best part is that it’s difficult for your opponents to avoid his moveset, leaving no room for escape.
- Blood: Blood is one of the rarest and deadliest Shikais in Roblox Paradox. It excels in damage and range and is strong enough to take down opponents with moves like Ending, which sends out a blood dragon to kill your enemies. However, his abilities aren’t necessarily the best in the game, as enemies can easily counter them with S-tier moves.
B level
- Fire: Fire, as the name suggests, is primarily based on fire abilities. Although it is a good option for many beginners, I would not recommend it for higher levels due to its slow attack speed. In particular, his burning and spinning moves are quite slow, making it easy for opponents to dodge and counter.
- Shadow: Shadow carries significant risk, especially in ranged combat. His main move, Eclipse, slashes the opponent with a sword, which is undoubtedly a great move in close combat. However, due to the limited range, I didn’t use it most of the time.
C level
- wind: Wind is the Shikai you should definitely avoid due to its lack of powerful abilities. Similar to the B-tier options, you can use it when you’re just starting out but its damage isn’t enough to dominate players with better Shikais. Therefore, even against an average player, you have no chance if you have Wind equipped.

How to get Shikai in Paradox
To obtain Shikai you must follow these steps:
- You must reach a potential of 75 and take the Shinigami Exam.
- Then you have to reach 200 potential and meditate to beat a mini-game.
- Finally, you must defeat the boss and complete the Shikai acquisition.
How to reach 75 potential and take the Shinigami exam
One of the best methods to increase potential in Paradox is by conducting wave defense missions which basically requires you to parry and quickly defeat NPCs. Luckily, parrying isn’t that difficult since the game is slower. If wave defense is difficult, try it Complete the “Transport the Buyer” quest instead. It’s even easier since you don’t have to deal with enemies. Simply accompany the NPC to the designated location. Turn them in and you will earn a lot of potential.
Once you have 75 potentialit’s time to find the professor. From the trainer, walk straight into the classroom. Press “E” to interact with the professor who will accompany you through the exam.

- Protect the living world from Hollows

Once you pass, your outfit changes as you have officially become a Shinigami.
How to meditate in Paradox and complete the minigame
After Reach 200 potentialyou have to meditate. From Pressing “N” You can start the meditation process. During this phase, a mini-game will appear where you press the corresponding numbers on your keyboard. Level 1 is very easy, but Level 2 is a bit more challenging and requires pressing two numbers at the same time. It may take a few tries, but don’t worry! You can skip and require some parts without penalty at least 40 points to pass.
How to defeat the boss and unlock Shikai
After that, you’ll get to level 3, where you’ll enter a boss room. You will see a hallway leading to your ghost. When you interact with it, a boss fight will begin. The boss teleports from one place to another most of the time, which is why I would recommend bringing high damage skills such as: Dynamic punch And Phantom Thrust causing significant damage before the Shikai boss can even act. I was able to defeat this boss in under two minutes and under 30 hits.
Once the boss is defeated, you will finally unlock Shikai. To activate it, easy Press “V” on your keyboard.
